"Reviewed" mark.
Japanese team has a proofreading process in their translation procedure. Once
translation completed, it is proofread and marked as 'reviewed' manually by
other translator. This is time consuming process but ensures translation high
standard quality as well to avoid any mistake. There must be similar process
existed in other teams too.
Please consider to have this feature.

[Bug 1135533] New: [Fedora] Display translator's preferred/main languages first before other languages
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135533
Bug ID: 1135533
Summary: [Fedora] Display translator's preferred/main languages
first before other languages
Product: Zanata
Version: 3.3
Component: Usability
Assignee: djansen(a)redhat.com
Reporter: pswo10680(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: zanata-qa(a)redhat.com
CC: trans(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, zanata-bugs(a)redhat.com
Description of problem:
Most translators master their mother languages better than others. One project
may have many languages to be translated; however, zanata should display
translators' preferred/main languages first before others to save the time to
search for those preferred/main languages.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. Log in as a non-English translator, for example, zh-Hant
1. Enter one project page, for example, fonts-tweak-tool
https://translate.zanata.org/zanata/project/view/fonts-tweak-tool
2. Enter one version page, for example, master
https://translate.zanata.org/zanata/iteration/view/fonts-tweak-tool/maste...
3. Languages showed to be translated
Actual results:
Languages showed to be translated, sorted by Alphabet
==> Afrikans > Albanian > Amharic...
Expected results:
Suggested as below,
Languages showed to be translated, preferred/main languages first, followed by
others which may be later sorted by Alphabet
==> Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) [translator's main language] ==> Chinese
(Taiwan) [translator's main language] ==> Chinese (Simplified) [translator's
reference language/preferred language] ==> Japanese [translator's reference
language] | Afrikans > Albanian > Amharic...

Hi
Let's back to basic, it will be best to stick with the team page which has been
created by each coordinator who knows their language best. I looked the team
page closely, and would like to have the following modification for the
language list to match with the team page.
[Change]
Baluchi => Balochi
Chinese (China) => Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Hong Kong SAR China) => Chinese (Hong Kong)
Chinese (Taiwan) => Chinese (Traditional)
English (United Kingdom) => English (British)
wba => Warao
[Add]
Twi (tw)
[Remove]
Akan (ak)
Thanks
noriko

#fedora-g11n channel
by pravin.d.s@gmail.com
Hi All,
Activity on Fedora Globalization is going well with number of
interesting discussions and plans in last couple of meetings including
Zanata user survey, L10n Sprint, Plans to move Translation deadline near
Beta, Testing days including i18n and l10n+zanata and Change proposals for
Fedora 23.
In our last g11n meeting [1] we discussed on irc communication channel
for g11n. Following discussions happened.
* We are already have #fedora-l10n, #fedora-i18n and #fedora-fltg.
Adding one more channel will not much help on collaboration front.
* Not much traffic #fedora-i18n, #fedora-l10n and #fedora-fltg
By keeping above points in mind we thought its good to have single
channel #fedora-g11n. We agreed on this in meeting.
* Present plan is as follows:*
1. Create #fedora-g11n (Done by Parag)
2. Ask everyone on #fedora-i18n and #fedora-l10n to move on
#fedora-g11n.
3. Try possibilities of autoredict in irc.
4. Keep remaining channels open for 1 month during migration to see if
we are missing anything.
5. Announce #fedora-g11n extensively in Fedora medium including magazine
and mailing lists.
This email is specifically to get your opinion on this plan and does
migrating all related people to #fedora-g11n make sense.
Thanks,
Pravin Satpute

I am Akash Singh who is looking forward to join Fedora project as a Hindi translator.
by Akash Singh
Hi there,
I am Akash Singh from Meerut, India.
FAS username: akashsinghsonofgita
Translating Language: Hindi (India)
I am a senior year engineering student at Madan
Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur.
I love reading and playing all kinds of games. I love listening to music
and travelling too. Photography is another passion growing inside me. I love
taking pictures. It is simply amazing. I recently founded my new
interest in Python programming, it is simply great. I was believed engineering is easy, people are hard but now I am trying to change such
views by participating in group project where I could find new people, interact
with them, discuss about my views and thoughts.
I would be glad to join Fedora project as a Hindi translator as Hindi being
my mother tongue and also I wanted other Hindi speakers to have an all new enriching
experience of Fedora in Hindi. Although I do not have any former experience but
I do believe this could be the good kick start for me.
