"Reviewed" mark.
Japanese team has a proofreading process in their translation procedure. Once
translation completed, it is proofread and marked as 'reviewed' manually by
other translator. This is time consuming process but ensures translation high
standard quality as well to avoid any mistake. There must be similar process
existed in other teams too.
Please consider to have this feature.

[Bug 1135533] New: [Fedora] Display translator's preferred/main languages first before other languages
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135533
Bug ID: 1135533
Summary: [Fedora] Display translator's preferred/main languages
first before other languages
Product: Zanata
Version: 3.3
Component: Usability
Assignee: djansen(a)redhat.com
Reporter: pswo10680(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: zanata-qa(a)redhat.com
CC: trans(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, zanata-bugs(a)redhat.com
Description of problem:
Most translators master their mother languages better than others. One project
may have many languages to be translated; however, zanata should display
translators' preferred/main languages first before others to save the time to
search for those preferred/main languages.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. Log in as a non-English translator, for example, zh-Hant
1. Enter one project page, for example, fonts-tweak-tool
https://translate.zanata.org/zanata/project/view/fonts-tweak-tool
2. Enter one version page, for example, master
https://translate.zanata.org/zanata/iteration/view/fonts-tweak-tool/maste...
3. Languages showed to be translated
Actual results:
Languages showed to be translated, sorted by Alphabet
==> Afrikans > Albanian > Amharic...
Expected results:
Suggested as below,
Languages showed to be translated, preferred/main languages first, followed by
others which may be later sorted by Alphabet
==> Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan) [translator's main language] ==> Chinese
(Taiwan) [translator's main language] ==> Chinese (Simplified) [translator's
reference language/preferred language] ==> Japanese [translator's reference
language] | Afrikans > Albanian > Amharic...

[Bug 1169662] New: [Fedora] The language list in zanata and the Fedora language team list are not consistent
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1169662
Bug ID: 1169662
Summary: [Fedora] The language list in zanata and the Fedora
language team list are not consistent
Product: Zanata
Component: Component-UI

Reporter: noriko(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: zanata-qa(a)redhat.com

Hi
Let's back to basic, it will be best to stick with the team page which has been
created by each coordinator who knows their language best. I looked the team
page closely, and would like to have the following modification for the
language list to match with the team page.
[Change]
Baluchi => Balochi
Chinese (China) => Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Hong Kong SAR China) => Chinese (Hong Kong)
Chinese (Taiwan) => Chinese (Traditional)
English (United Kingdom) => English (British)
wba => Warao
[Add]
Twi (tw)
[Remove]
Akan (ak)
Thanks
noriko

wiki updated for board -> council
by Matthew Miller
I've gone through a bunch of pages on the wiki and updated Board ->
Council where it made obvious sense, marked other pages as historic,
and in a couple of cases posted here about some sections that might n
need bigger changes or simply where I didn't quite feel comfortable
with search & replace.
I'm sure there's plenty more — I didn't try to go through all of the
weekly report pages from 2006 and 2007 (and I don't think there's value
in doing that), or User pages — and there are a lot of translated pages
which need updating.
I posted this to the Fedora Council list, but this seemed like a better
place for that last issue. The FAQ, for example, is maintained in
multiple languages; what should be done to get the non-English versions
updated?
Also, if you see anything I missed in the English pages, feel free to
fix it directly, or contact me. There's a _lot_ of wiki, with a lot of
cruft. If you see anything I've botched, same deal. :)

Not able to contribute to Gujarati translations
by Ankit Patel
Hello Everyone,
I have done Gujarati translations for Fedora since Fedora Core 1. Since
past couple of years I have been relaxed as majority of the translation
activities are carried out by Sweta Kothari. It's becoming difficult for
me to find a spare time to show any activity on Gujarati translations,
hence decided to give a heads up to the group here.
Thanks,

Adding new language teams
by Sean Flanigan
I see from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1207485 that
Fedora might want to add the language Guarani(gn) soon.
I found an old request to add 'gn' to Transifex, which stalled due to
lack of confirmed information [1]. Just for reference, here is an
archived copy of Transifex's old guide for adding languages [2].
I would recommend that something be added to Fedora's L10n FAQ item for
adding languages [3], to make sure the language's plural forms are
formally documented and put into Zanata, unless they are already there.
To add a new language to Zanata, we need to know the English name, the
native name of the locale and the rules for plural forms as used in
gettext PO headers, such as:
"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1);\n".a
The Zanata team normally gets plural information from The Translate
Project [4] and tries to get any new information pushed upstream. So
please make sure your language information appears on that page.
If the language (or its plural forms) need to be added to Zanata, a
bugzilla request is probably best [5].
Note: as of Zanata 3.5/3.6, we have to push a new release of Zanata to
add new plural forms, although this should change in Zanata 3.7: [6].
