Hi,
I have noticed that Anaconda master branch has been moved to Zanata. Appreciate if someone can allocate all available projects to Sinhala team and also set my account 'snavin' as team coordinator.
Thanks,
Why my dashboard is empty when I login to zanata? I can't see a single project there.
Should I search projects and translate? Sorry but this is crap compared to pootle.

Yes, seems so. And no email alerts as well (they told those are too annoying)...
Sorry but this is crap compared to pootle.

Yes... After you translated some stuff on zanata, they will be shown on the dashboard.

It would be useful for the Zanata team and The Fedora Project to receive constructive feedback which can be converted to issues-to-fix. A catch-all usage of "this is crap" is neither helpful nor going useful.
Hi Sankarshan/Fedora community,
We are moving our issue tracker to https://zanata.atlassion.net.
Please feel free to provide us your valuable feedback/suggestion.

Hi Danishka,
Thanks for your feedback on the dashboard design and sorry for the confusion
In dashboard,
- left side shows quick statistic of your personal translations. - On right side, 'Activity' tab shows your recent translation activities in Zanata. - 'Projects' tab shows all projects that you maintained at the moment. (it will be empty if you are not maintainer of any project) - 'Settings' tab shows your personal settings and information.
We are currently looking to improving the dashboard by providing more useful information to users/translators.
If you have any feedback or suggestion, feel free to let us know.

Hi Alex,
The basic feature should be, all necessary projects must be available under each language whether the translator worked on it or not. Language team should able to see what they have to worked instead of what they have worked on so far.
Please check pootle features.
Thanks,

Hi Danishka,
It sounds like the page you are looking for is a project listing page which we are trying to improve on with more user related information.
We will look into that and place it in Zanata requests.
Thanks.

Go 'Group' => choose a group => search your language => click your language, then the list of all projects with stats within the group shows up. This may not be perfect solution, but I hope this helps a little.
main group: contains Fedora packages upstream group: contains upstream than Fedora docs: contains all books web: contains Fedora websites
I have to say the definition between main and upstream is vague, and some may be fallen in wrong group. But at least, software packages fall in either of 'main' or 'upstream'.

Hi Alex,
It would be nice if we choose a product that most of major open source project use. Yes, I am talking about Pootle, for example both Mozilla and LibreOffice use it and both of communities working with pootle guys. We (communities) all have common issues.
Thanks, Danishka

Hi Danishka,
We recently migrated, lets not get into this discussion again. :) At least wait for couple of releases of Fedora and see how things are going. In between you might be aware Zanata is selected by OpenStack community as well. I am sure future is bright with Zanata.
We (communities) all have common issues.
That's good :) You already know we have started Fedora G11N activity and Zanata developers are already part of it. It will be nice if you can jump in meeting and raise issues you are facing.
Feel free to raise ticket on trac. [1]
