Description of problem:
I have revisited the TQSG section
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/translation-quick-start-guide/en_US/) for
localization after the new Fedora Account System. I found many of the things
needs an update. I have no idea, how to edit it, and have limited information on
some of the sections. So, can someone here, please help me to update the TQSG or
better directly update it?
Btw, here are the sections needs an update, I think:

fallout from elvis -> fedorahosted move
by Bill Nottingham
Was there supposed to be a step where the old repositories were
removed from elvis?
We ran into a case today where for one module (system-config-keyboard)
the only thing that was done is that at some point the translations
were 'cvs rm'd, leaving all the code there (which, by the way, is
a horribly broken way to try to disable the repo). Development was still
going on in the elvis repository, and now we have divergent trees.

Product: Fedora Localization
Version: unspecified

OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW

ReportedBy: wwoods(a)redhat.com

(Apologies in advance if this isn't the right place for this..)
The "About this Computer" item was added to the System menu in Rawhide on March 8. It's provided by
about-this-desktop.desktop, in the gnome-system-monitor package.
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewcvs/rpms/gnome-system-monitor/devel/abou...
computer.desktop?view=markup
This is a Fedora-specific feature right now - it''ll be moved upstream sometime after F9. But I don't
want to add a whole transifex module just for one string that will be moved upstream in the next six
months.
How should I go about getting it translated for F9?

About translating system-config-users...
by Makoto Mizukami
Hi everyone,
I have found out that there are sentences of GPL license in system-config-users.
Is it better to translate it? Or can I leave it untranslated?
Please tell me.
Thanks,
Makoto Mizukami

translation of scim
by Jens-Ulrik Petersen
Hi,
As part of the Fedora 9 release we are trying to improve the translation
of SCIM (the default Input Method system used in Fedora).
We'd like to move the process into Transifex as soon as we can, but it
will probably take some time so until then Peng and I can help to commit
translations upstream (with due credit of course).
If you are able to provide translations for you language we would be
very happy to accept them and add them to upstream, and make sure they
get included in F9 in time for the translation freeze.
The pot file can be obtained from:
http://scim.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/scim/scim/trunk/po/scim...
Thank you kindly for your contributions,
Jens

Request for string change: BZ #439717: User Properties dialog - Clash of short-cut (Ctrl+e)
by Nils Philippsen
Hi all,
I'd like to fix clashing short cuts in system-config-users (see BZ
#439717) but would need to change translatable strings to do that.
Impact if not accepted: "The shortcuts for the checkbox "Enable Account
expiration" and the label "Account expires" clash, Ctrl+e. It is not
possible to user either shortcut once the offending checkbox is ticked."
Thanks,
Nils
