Hi all.
Since yesterday, we have been adding some live/actual modules on our
Transifex instance. Yay! Right now we've got smolt and revisor, both on
non-CVS repositories, accepting translations, and we'll incrementally
add more:
https://publictest5.fedora.redhat.com/submit/module/
Any translator (member of cvsl10n) can login to the application and
submit a translation to the registered modules. The more people test
these, the quicker we'll be able to say "OK, we are ready to add more
modules". :)
So, can some of you please submit some stuff on the live modules and
play around? I'll keep an eye on the logs in case some error shows up.
Please report problems with bug reports:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora%20Localization&com…
In the mean time, I'll contact the OLPC folks to setup some of their
modules on our transifex instance. It's a great opportunity for us to
jump right in and help the translation of OLPC: it's for a good cause
and the strings are so few.

Still need to set up access for the transifex user to commit later tonight, but
damned lies will also need updating.

Isn't it possible to autodetect the language based on the ip address on
fedoraproject.org? Like google does ?
This, but leaving the option to change the language if there's a mistake
(proxy or something).

How long and what does it take to get a language released on
fedoraproject.org website?
Is there a process settled ?
I've sent the romanian translation three days ago.

Hi,
I want to introduce you myself:
I'm Devrim Gündüz. I'm currently living in Canada, however I'm a Turkish
citizen. I'm working for Command Prompt, Inc.
I've been a Fedora & EPEL package for quite some time, and I maintain ~
10 packages, which are all PostgreSQL related ones.
I joined to the list in order to maintain Turkish translations for
Fedora, an to become the maintainer for Turkish language.
I've been involving with PostgreSQL project mainly, and I'm the RPM
maintainer of PostgreSQL -- also a member of web team, advocacy team,
etc. Also I translate PostgreSQL into Turkish.
I have involved with Fedora translation in the past, and now want to
spend more time on that.
Here is my GPG key:

Hi,
Since I am the first Arabic translater, I thought that it's better if I
start the team and be the maintainer.
What do you think?
