yum translations
by Adam Pribyl
Does someone know how to achieve the yum translation to be complete in
Fedora 16?
I am somewhat lost as in transifex there is only showing the yum 3_2_x CS
to be 100%, while yum version in Fedora 16 is 3.4.3, the yum git says
translations were update 23.8.2011 but accross F14, F15 and F16 the yum
translation is broken to different degree.
Thank for any hint

Websites update for GA
by Kévin Raymond
Hi translators,
Today we have updated the transifex.net websites resources. Changes,
are:
* http://fedoraproject.org website is building (hourly) from the "fedoraproject.org f16-beta branch" transifex resource;
* http://spins.fedoraproject.org website is building (hourly) from the "spins-fedoraproject-org-f16-beta" transifex resource;
* http://stg.fedoraproject.org is going to be built (daily) from the "fedoraproject.org master branch" transifex resource;
* http://spins.stg.fedoraproject.org is going to be built (daily) from the "spins.fedoraproject.org" transifex resource.
Those changes are here to provide staging websites that would be pushed at
the Fedora 16 release time (November, the 8th). Please, correct
translations by that time. Easy to remember, resources flagged as Urgent
(red flag) are the staging ones, you should use the first two resources only
to correct typos.
Spins website will have new pages in order to welcome newly created
spins!
Happy translating,
and please, let us know if you find any typo.
Best Regards,

Release Notes
by John J. McDonough
The following languages show as complete:
es, fr, ja, nl, ru, uk
later today I plan to make an RPM so that when the user does the first
update they have the latest Release Notes, and as many translations as
possible. (The RPM for the final compose was due weeks ago).
Are there other languages that should be included in the RPM, even
though they are not complete?
Also, a number of languages show messages missing from the PO file.
However, it does appear those missing messages are translated, so I'm
not 100% certain what is going on here. To see your messages visit:
http://fedorapeople.org/groups/docs/release-notes/(language
code)/(language code).log
where the language code is the Publican code, for example:
http://fedorapeople.org/groups/docs/release-notes/ru-RU/ru-RU.log
If all goes according to plan, we will publish all completed
translations around November 7 to docs.fp.o. Again, if you want
something published that doesn't show 100% in Transifex, just let me
know.
Currently, there is one outstanding bug that doesn't show in the POT
files. I anticipate a rash of bugs following release, so I am waiting
for that to happen before updating the POTs. There will probably be at
least one RPM built after release, and it will include any additional
translations available at that time.
Thanks for all your hard work..

Lang codes strike again
by Petr Kovar
Hi list,
I found out that there was a wrong code for Bosnian language in our list of
lang code mappings that is shared on the docs wiki and used in many guides:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Setting_up_a_document_with_Transifex#Step_...
Also, new lang codes have been added to the Fedora Project in Tx recently
so we need to update the Tx config file in our guides accordingly. The
updated and hopefully fixed list of lang codes is as follows:
lang_map = aln:aln-AL, ar:ar-SA, as:as-IN, bal:bal-PK, bg:bg-BG,
bn:bn-BD, bn_IN:bn-IN, bs:bs-BA, ca:ca-ES, cs:cs-CZ, da:da-DK,
de_CH:de-CH, de:de-DE, el:el-GR, en_GB:en-GB, es:es-ES, et:et-EE,
fa:fa-IR, fi:fi-FI, fr:fr-FR, gu:gu-IN, he:he-IL, hi:hi-IN,
hr:hr-HR, hu:hu-HU, id:id-ID, is:is-IS, it:it-IT, ja:ja-JP,
kn:kn-IN, ko:ko-KR, lt:lt-LT, lv:lv-LV, mai:mai-IN, ml:ml-IN,
mr:mr-IN, ms:ms-MY, nb:nb-NO, nds:nds-DE, nl:nl-NL, nn:nn-NO,
or:or-IN, pa:pa-IN, pl:pl-PL, pt_BR:pt-BR, pt:pt-PT, ro:ro-RO,
ru:ru-RU, si:si-LK, sk:sk-SK, sl:sl-SI, sq:sq-AL, sr:sr-RS,
sr@latin:sr-Latn-RS, sv:sv-SE, ta:ta-IN, te:te-IN, tr:tr-TR,
uk:uk-UA, ur:ur-PK, vi:vi-VN, zh_CN:zh-CN, zh_HK:zh-HK, zh_TW:zh-TW
Guide owners, please update the .tx/config file in your active branches.
(The User Guide and Deployment Guide are fixed already.)
Cheers,
Petr Kovar
