I stumbled over this as well, I don’t know where this limitation
comes
from, I didn’t set any limitation.
I would remove it if I knew how to do it.
So, this comments is here:
https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/translate/ibus-typing-booster/app...
the source string is: translator-credits
Weblate's default setting is:
By default the length of a given translation is limited to the length of
the source string * 10 characters. Set this option to False to allow
longer translations (up to 10.000 characters) irrespective of the source
length.

The workaround is to play with with "max-length:10000" from
https://docs.weblate.org/en/weblate-3.10.3/admin/checks.html#customizing-...
But the real fix is to use one of these ways to credits translators:
* git log (thanks to weblate, you have one commit per real author)
* weblate's reports
https://translate.stg.fedoraproject.org/projects/ibus-typing-booster/#rep...
* weblate's addon to add contributors in comments:
https://docs.weblate.org/en/weblate-3.10.3/admin/addons.html#contributors...
I activate this by default on every single component
* you can also enable the statistics generator:
https://docs.weblate.org/en/weblate-3.10.3/admin/addons.html#statistics-g...
As you can see, there is many ways to credits translators, and this is
very nice of you to include us.
I feel like the "credit-translators" string should not be encouraged
anymore.
