To cooperate with upstream is the one of the core values. Branching or
patching translations are not good ideas.
I have provided translations for Lennart's other software project,
systemd, and although I needed to wait 2 weeks or even 4 months, he
had no problem with integrating it, as long as it was a git-formatted
patch submitted in an upstream bug report. Using git to make patches
might be a bit too difficult for some translators though.
