Guten Morgen,
krb5 received a German translation upstream (originally from the Debian
German localization team). A native German-speaking colleague has gone
over it, but doesn't actually use Linux in German so is unsure how it
compares to other translations.
Would it be possible for someone more familiar to give us feedback?
The
.po file is here [1]. I'm fine with relaying comments, but if you'd
prefer, the PR itself is here [2].
Thanks!

P.S. My apologies if this is the wrong venue; feel free to redirect me
elsewhere if so. However, it does seem that trans-de@ is not the
right place; that list seems to be unmoderated but requires
moderator approval to join.
Debian has quite a good quality process related to translation, if you got a review from
one additional German, it is more than sufficient to tell the translation is good.
To go deeper into translation consistency across packages, it would require to know how to
extract translation from every package in the distribution, and run queries. As far as I
know, this doesn't exist and only the translator experience helps. But I would love to
see such project!
