Hello
I want to be maintainer for Georgian language for Fedora. I've translated part of utilities long time ago and want to continue contribution and finish it. I'm active Fedora user and as a system administrator actively using it in enterprise environment too. I'm following community activities, updates, bugs etc, familiar with everything (almost everything, i think so). I've got some time and want to use it :)
Thanks
Best regards, George Machitidze

Hi,
It is great to see Georgian translators in Fedora Translation Team.
It seems that someone have already requested Georgian team on Transifex. What is the procedure to reclaim such requests?
Best regards, Yuri

It was George's request. :) I've accepted it now. Welcome to Fedora!
Thank you for fast response!
Any other procedures to be done or I can already start translating? I see that team info should be added on page and there is no mailing list too...
Thanks
Best regards, George Machitidze

You're pretty much set. You can add info to the wiki page by yourself - all you need is a FAS account [1], which is useful anyway (you got to vote for release codenames!).
Mailing list depends on you. You can request one at Infra, but you need to judge first if it's needed for just one contributor. I, for one, almost never used trans-pl list. Let me know about your decision and I'll send you the links.
Happy translating!

Heh :)
It's better to add mailing list - I'll try to involve some young guys via social networks and I prefer to have common mailing list for specific issues, so we can talk this way.
Thanks in advance
Best regards, George Machitidze

Great! You need to file a ticket on this website (FAS account is required to log in):
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/
Choose "Mailing Lists" component.
I'm also thinking about adding Georgian component to Bugzilla, allowing users to report translation bugs to you. To do that, you just need to have bugzilla.redhat.com account and then I can add it.

Oh, and I forget to tell you to join cvsl10n group in FAS!
Task opened, request for joining cvsl10n sent, translation started. Thank you all!

I accepted your cvsl10n request.
You might want to join freedesktop team on Transifex, some really important cross-desktop software is hosted here.

Thank you,
Request sent

Have you requested this in the ticket at fedora-infrastructure?

If I did something - I wouldn't do it by breaking the rules. I've requested membership a 4-5 months ago - I don't remember the details, but I didn't find anything in my mailbox.
