Hi all.. here is a typo in the english manpage of bash.. I already mailed it
to bugbash and the ppl responsible for bash, but in any case, here it is..
Hi there.. sorry to bother you all, but i've found a typo in the
bash
manpage which seems to be constant around all the distrubutions and
version
of linux i've managed to see.
The typo is in the area prompting (got there with /^PROMPTING) and a
little
below is the \V - "\V the release of bash, version +
patchelvel (e.g.,
2.00.0)" where i believe "patchelvel" should be patchlevel.
My version of bash is as it follows, but i believe some other versions
have
the same typo.
bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.05b.0(1)-release (i386-redhat-linux-gnu)
