I had the same issue and I reported this on the amarok mailing list:

The bug seems fixed with the last release amarok-2.0.1.1-1 (at least,
it works for me now)
Which version are you using?
I'm trying out some of the supposed workarounds to see if they work for
me ...
It does! For me it worked to delete .kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle :-)
