I currently use t-bird with an nntp account pointing to gmane to read
this list and sereral others. Does kde have an nntp client program of
any sort? I don't see it as a possible new account type in kmail. Also,
search with kpackagekit yields nothing with "usenet" or "nntp" that is
kde specific.

After spending about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to create a
new 'tag', KMail has stop quoting, or in any way referencing an email
that I am trying to reply to.
So I am now having to manually copy and "paste as quoting" when I am replying.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
is there someothing like the pointer capture applet for gnome for KDE in F12?
It is a sentelic touchpad so using synclient and similar workarounds does
not work.
Thanks
Richard
Just an fyi,
kde-4.4.80 (4.5beta1) f13 builds will be coming to -unstable repo soon.
Lots of cool new stuff, but be wary, as it is a beta after all.
I'll likely not do f12 builds this time around, when beta2 or rc1 or
whatever lands, I may.

Hi,
I've installed f13 on my dell latitude d620 and the sound is working but I
cannot understand if pulseaudio is working or not.
Inside the multimedia section in systemsetting I see only "Internal Analog
Stereo device" but if I start pavucontrol I can
see the application's stream while I playing some music.
If I look inside syslog and don't see error related to pulseaudio but I see
only this:
May 30 08:47:17 f13fabio pulseaudio[2072]: pid.c: Daemon already running.
How to check if pulse is working and how to add "Pulse Audio Sound Sever"
inside systemsettings as with f12 ?
Thanx!
If I force the power off on my laptop, when restarted networking is always
disabled. I use nm-applet and check enable networking, then it works again.
I can't seem to get this function with knetworkmanager. Either right or
left click on the icon only tells me it's disabled.
After updating from f12 + kde-testing -> f13, kdm is having troubles.
For example:
Cannot load library /usr/lib64/kde4/kcm_keyboard_layout.so
(libxklavier.so.15: cannot open shared object file)
Can someone check korganizer by creating a new entry? I can't select a time,
because the panel for the drop-down is too narrow, so I see 0..0, 0..5, 0..0,
0..5 etc. This happens even if I maximise.
