Can anyone confirm this? I just removed the debug rpms as they have
been blocking updates due to missing deps. I have had crashes when
with debug rpms installed, but no less quiet. Additionally, debug
packages would only seeem useful if I was getting a crash report at
all, saying that there were debug symbols missing. As is, the window
just vanishes.

OK... I ran into this to... All I did to correct the situation was before
reswtarting kontact / kmail I backed up ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail then removed
the kmail folder. Started Kontact again almost all was well. I have to
reconfigure my filters. Other than that everything was ok.
