That's a completely different bug, it's about a /.kde folder
in the root of
the file system hierarchy (NOT in root's home directory), which is indeed a
KDE bug (/root/.kde is where it SHOULD be).

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't realize that earlier.
Then again, the programmer who wrote the code with the bug, made the same mistake I did.
So I feel I'm in good company. :)
