downgrade my glibc to glibc-2.14.90-5.x86_64 (patched) and installed the
proprietary nvidia 275.28 driver.
could this be anything to do with it, or do these packages brake anyone else's

In Fedora 16, I have noticed for a number of weeks now that whenever Ilog
in, there are launchers on the task bar for konqueror and dolphin. I have
tried repeated to get rid of them, but every time I log back in, they are
How can I get rid of them once and for all?
I just installed Fedora Spins on my netbook, but for some reasons I couldn't
connect to the wireless network. It didn't even detect the signal and the
feature looks like it is disabled.
Can you tell me what should I do?

With my HP LaserJet 2200 I can print a test page from Printer Configuration (as
root). As user printing from KDE apps (e.g. kwrite, kmail) and Firefox fails.
Pages are processed and send to the printer (printer light starts blinking),
but nothing is comming out. Cups is telling me that everything went fine. This
happens both in Fedora 15 and 16. Btw. As a workaround I'm using an old ppd-
file from Fedora 10 :-)
Anyone else sees this?
I noticed that under 'Akonadi servcer configuration' there was no database
I selected internal MySQL Server - I believe that is the preferred choice?
Who knows - maybe kmail and knetworkmanager will finally stop asking me for
passwords (over and over)
From the gnome 3 shell in rawhide and F16, when I use k3b or dolphin, I
cannot activate buttons with the mouse. I can select the button, but
then have to press the enter key to activate the button. For menu
items, I can select and activate with the mouse. Mouse and keyboard are
on an USB kvm switch. Don't see this with previous versions of Fedora.
Asked on the desktop list some time ago and was told to ask on kde list.
Anyone else seeing this? I am willing to enter a bz, but against what?
