F15: subversion 1.7 / kdesvn

Bugfixes needing testing for the Fedora 16 release

Hi, there are a couple of KDE-related packages in Fedora 16 updates-testing which fix bugs, but need testing to get included in the Fedora 16 release (and in particular on the Fedora 16 live image). The deadline is already on Monday, October 24. Fedora 16 Final TC2 out: desktop validation required!

Hey, folks. We just released Fedora 16 Final TC2: http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/16.TC2/ It would be great if people could grab the TC and help fill out the desktop validation results: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_16_Final_TC2_Desktop We need to make sure we have good coverage and know where all the blockers are ahead of the RC phase, which comes next week. I didn't mention TC1 because it had a major issue with live image installation which is what we usually use for desktop validation: this build should have that bug fixed, so installations from the live images should behave. Thanks for any help you can give! kdevelop for rhel6?

Hi all, we have migrated one server from RHEL5 to RHEL6. There is no kdevelop anymore because it was dropped. Is it possible to get it somewhere? Or what are my chances to import/run a kdevelop rhel5 project under rhel6? Thx Rainer

KDE Menu Editor - how to choose desktop?

I use the KDE menu editor to create little applications to login to various remote machines. For example, I have an application entitled "alfred login" in my Favourites, and when I click on this "ssh alfred-vpn" is run to open an ssh session on the remote machine "alfred". This works fine, and by right-clicking on the top of the window and going to Advanced=>Special Window Settings=>Desktop I can try to force the session to open in Desktop 4, say. akonadi sqlite or mysql

My akonadi configuration has been set (by default) on sqlite for the last few updates, but the latest update suggested that mysql is now supposed to be the default, so I changed the setting and restarted the akonadi server. Is this the correct setting for proper functioning?

kfilemetadatareader crashes on F16

While browsing files with dolphin I get lots crashes like this: Executable: kfilemetadatareader PID: 4420 Signal: Aborted (6) It is enough to hover the mouse over some files and kfilemetadatareader crashes. This has been happening since last week. This system is up to date with kde-* and updates-testing repos. Regards, -- José Matos

kaddressbook has not worked for a few weeks

bz#742367 No matter whether I configure the old kde resources or akonadi resource using a address.vcf file, kaddressbook shows nothing. There is a rotating busy sign next to the addressbook resource and a crash window appears. It is not possible to use kaddressbook.

KDE apps make udisks-daemon mad

Hi, When I open Dolphin, Info Center or have Amarok running (minimized in systray) I see a lot of the following messages appear in /var/log/messages: dbus-daemon[834]: ** (udisks-daemon:1241): WARNING **: Property get or set does not have an interface string as first arg This happens in full updated Fedora 16 installs (upgraded from F15 and Fedora 16 final TC1). It's not happening in Gnome3. Does anyone else see this? Martin Kho
