Is qt-mobility-location installed?
It wasn't. After installing it, KDE painted the first two progress icons before aborting, and no .xsession-errors was written to provide clues to the problem. When I tried to login via KDM instead of startx, it nevertheless aborted, but then I got an .xsession-errors write that complained about libQtSensors. Installing qt-mobility-sensors got KDE going. So now these qt-mobility* are installed: qt-mobility-common-1.2.2-0.11.20140317git169da60c.fc21.i686 qt-mobility-location-1.2.2-0.11.20140317git169da60c.fc21.i686 qt-mobility-sensors-1.2.2-0.11.20140317git169da60c.fc21.i686
which makes me wonder why my other Rawhide desktop PC installations with fixed IP and no wireless anything have installed more like 13 instead of 3 qt-mobility*.
