Ooh, also: the newer dawn, dusk, and night images as compared to 26.2.2
are really ... harsh. Particularly, the white top layer fog doesn't
blend in very well. Is this intentional? I kind of like the "foggy
night" thing, but the brushstrokes seem a bit jarring. The older images
have this more toned down.
It is unintentional. I have access to the source files
and see if I can
tone down the fog.
Keeping the original .png file won't break GNOME. It is only a matter to
assign it through xml file.
