About the Fedora Art Studio Spin

Hi, The list of packages still exists, [1], though it needs to be updated. I started working on the spin , the initial size is around 1000MB, still all fonts need to be put in. I need help on verifying the fonts list and adding the missing names to it. Also having a customized generic-logos package should be used as this is * the design team* :) Please share your ideas. Fedora Linux Day - Santiago, Chile

A linux's community from Chili, Universidad Central de Chile (Ucentux<http://linux.ucentral.cl>), are working for a Linux Day, getting people to explain some work of Fedora Project, Open Source and Free Software some like the pass event in Brazil with Lula Da Silva. The information will be in the web site comming soon. BUT! we need some help with art, because we dont have yet the logo for this event, then I think here I can get some help to make the logo for Fedora Linux Day - Chile and one poster to promotion this event. I have one idea about improve this by using google calendar or Planner . On google calendar the new event is on email or sms on time. So important events are not forgotten. On planner is more flexible to manage task. And you have another project is easy to manage this. What do you think about this ? [Echo Perspective] system-file-manager

Hi Art-pandas! :) I have worked on a little icon for system-file-manager. It's not finished yet, still need to play a little with the shadows. But tell me what you think. I started to make a "dark"-blue version, but Martin thought it would be better with something lighter, so I have experimented a little - take a look. Shoot! My name is Charles Sutton. By day I am a mild mannered intellectual property attorney. I have been making art for about 12 years, and out of that I have been learning digital media for about three. I have mostly been interested in fine art, although I do all kinds of stuff ranging from minimalist abstractions to representational landscape and figurative drawings. I have a couple of print illustrative publication credits and a large number of juried shows I have been in. I am a former President of one non-profit art gallery and a former treasurer of another. I am a current co-chair of the annual California State Bar Association Bench and Bar Art Exhibition. I have a little bit of experience at making small icons and quite a bit of experience making what one might call webcomic type material to go along with the minimalist abstraction experience that might come in handy in the area of wall papers or screensavers. I mostly work in the GIMP or traditional media, though I have Inkscape and Blender available to me as well as some proprietary stuff like TurboCAD, Photoshop Elements 3 and Painter Essentials. I think that's about it in a nutshell.
