Hi all! The Fedora Council has been doing roughly-monthly checkins with
different Fedora teams and subprojects, and we'd be interested in
hearing from Design. We've been doing these on Google+ [*], with a
presenter with slides and stuff. It doesn't need to be long or very
formal, but something more organized than an unstructured chat. It'd
- the current state of the subproject
- future plans
- things the team needs from the rest of the project
- any blockers we can help unblock
- big resource requests?
Is anyone from Design interested in doing this? We use the Monday 17:00 UTC
timeslot. October 12 is a US holiday (Indigenous Peoples' Day, at my
house at least), but October 19 or 26th would be open.
* see council list for discussion on open source alternatives;
hopefully in the not too distant future.

I'm working on the project AskFedora UX/UI and functionality overhaul under
GSoC this summer. I have created some mockups for the pages in AskFedota
which can be viewed at my blog -
Also I have set up a repository in fedoradesign github where I have pushed
my current work on the mockups -
I would like to have some feedback on these mockups and would like to know
the improvements that I need to do further and whether there are any
additional things that I need to include in the designs. The views of all
of you would be very important to this project.

Greetings, My name is Philip.
I have never contributed to an open source project before, but I really
like Fedora and have some art/design skills and I would love to contribute
to this project. I have no formal art training and am primarily self
taught. I will send an attachment with some examples of my work. As well as
a link to my DeviantArt profile, (http://eagleye31.deviantart.com/) Thank
you for your time and consideration.
We picked the current design team meeting time before Ryan and gnokii
moved to pretty significantly different timezones. I'm going to be gone
for about a 3 month period (likely late November - late February) and
won't be able to run the meetings for that time as well.
So I'm thinking now might be a good time to look at moving our meetings
to a better time slot for Ryan and gnokii since they are both team
leaders here and we'd be better off having them in the meetings anyway.
I started a whenisgood to try to organize this; why don't we take a week
to fill it out and see if we can find a better time for everybody? We
can talk about the results at our meeting next week on Tuesday.
I'm at home sick with my daughter today and am not going to be able to lead the meeting today. If anybody else would like to chair the meeting in my absence, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, enjoy the extra hour in your day!
Hi Design team,
on September 17, 2015 we plan to organize Fedora 23 Beta Release
Readiness Meeting . As we will need a status from the Design team,
I would like to ask for a volunteer who will join the meeting and will
be able to provide the status for F23 Beta readiness in the name of
the whole team. Please let me know who the volunteer will be :-)
Thanks and Best Regards,

The submission phase for the supplemental wallpaper ended last night. The
voting for them is open now and its only until 17th of September you can
cast your vote.
We have 151 candidates in the pool, so its a hard job as some of them are
very good. On the other hand its easy to find 16 wallpaper you like.
We use Nuancier for the voting https://apps.fedoraproject.org/nuancier and
everybody has CLA +1 can vote.
