extend the brand guidelines - embroidery colors

Hello, I currently working on a article series for Fedora Magazine, MAKE more with Inkscape. Which introduces to things besides graphics that can be done with Inkscape. First things first, the current logo is not node clean. Mean usage on web pages as SVG costs more traffic and rendering time. I figured this out, as I did write the GCode article, so there it brings also trouble. Currently I writing on the article for embroidery (very interesting topic). It's not my first article to it I already did look into it a few months back writing an article for the german LinuxUSER magazine. So the extension for this is Ink/Stitch and this one brings color palettes (and a function you can download them) with it. So can we find the matching colors, we want to use for any embroidery? I figured out that the Madeira yarn seems to be the most widely used. If we have, I can create some embroider designs, which just can be downloaded in the different file formats coming along with the thread list (with the right colors) That should make it easy to produce Ambassador shirts new. https://github.com/inkstitch/inkstitch/tree/main/palettes br gnokii

Hello! Tatica. I'm Ichiho, and I am writing to applicating to join the team. I am a 17-years old student from China and I'm also an amateur designer, once I won the second prize in a teen's desiging competition that held in Beijing. For a long time I was a member of FZUG (The official Chinese community of Fedora) and designed a series of logos for FZUG, they are in the attachment file "FZUG.tar.xz", and a favicon.ico (128x128). Though I was a member of the Chinese community but I was not a contributor to Fedora project yet. So this time I hope I can actually join the team that I can learn from you and pay my efforts for the Fedora project. Hello Guys, I hope you are all doing good. I'm Alkesh from Bangalore, India. I am a UX Designer doing my masters in design. From past days, I am exploring fedora different portal. But I am confused from where should I start contributing. I would request if anyone could guide me or send me a link of how to start. Also I wanted to ask you is there any other portal where you guys communicate or it is just through email only ? I have made my account on fedora. But it's asking for some key. As of now, I just know user name and password but not the key. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello,I'm Ichiho, and I am writing to ask if I could be assigned a task as the application for joining the team. I am a junior designer but I'm willing to do something for the Fedora community. Actually, I have designed a series of logos for FZUG (The official Chinese community of Fedora), they are in the attachment file "FZUG.tar.xz", and a favicon.ico (128x128). For a long time I was a member of a Chinese discussion group on the social media of Tencent, but I was not a contributor to the Fedora community. So this time I hope to actually join the Fedora community and be assigned a first task that is non-related with the Logo. Sorry, my English is not good, some expressions may be incorrect, I hope I can get your understanding. Thanks! :D

New Fedora characters - help needed

Hello, Some might now, there is the 7 ways to contribute to Fedora slides in my fedorapeople account. https://gnokii.fedorapeople.org/talks/character_slide_en.svg#1_0 Mizmo already said that here already, that I work on a new slideshow. Its definitely needed Mel Chua as other Ambassadors use this slides but there is definitely an udate needed, as there are several new ways to contribute. Some complained about the characters as to "cute" so the new ones are more realistic. But thats a bit complicated the old slides are 5MB in size and that needs always some loading time, so I lookking this time to save as much space as possible, using clones and so on. Unfortunately my life is bit complicated since they stole last year all my stuff. After one year I managed to get again a german SIM card, which I need to use PayPal and for my banking (Cambodia unfortunately doesnt forward foreign SMS anymore, but for PayPal I need a german card anyway). The first SIM card send to me just disappeared on the postal way (Thats Cambodia life) So hopefully I can return soon to my Fedora work soon (when I fetched the SIM card and unlocked it and managed to get my bank account back. But that will take still some weeks. But here now, I could not really do anything on the new characters, so if someone would be interested to help. Its a task for a beginner, if you have not enough Inkscape skills no problem I am there to help and you can learn on the fly. I attach the momentary stage of the characters. There are two more a girl with a hijab and a guy in a wheel chair. But the troubeling me the most, somehow it doesnt look like I want.
