That did the trick. I removed the unused rectangles in the baseplate,
repositioned the icons, and reran the python script. A tarball with
the src/ and rendered gnome/ paths can be downloaded here...

If the work is acceptable for ticket #99 then I'll start looking for

Hi Bryan,
the script uses the rectangles in the baseplate layer to "clip" the icons. The
second smallest rectangle actually has two overlaid ones -- one icon is used for both
24x24 and 22x22, so either nuke the 22x22 size, or make sure your icon doesn't get
clipped for the 22x22.
