Release party feedback / collecting ideas

Dear Ambassadors, most of the Lovelock release parties are over. Now I'd like to collect some feedback on materials you used, especially the ones the Fedora Design Team produced. It would be great if some of you which held an event could answer the following questions: * Which material did you use? (Posters, leaflets, business cards, CDs...) * Did you create some of that things yourself? If so - why? * Were there any things you wanted to use, but people at the event didn't like it? * Did you miss anything? What in detail? * Any ideas for material which you didn't miss, but think it might useful for your next event? With your feed back I'm planning to work on the fedora design ticket [1] for a release party kit for the next version of Fedora. LinuxCon Europe and others in Prague

Hi, there will be a kind of a super conference week in Prague because these events will take place in one city within one week: LinuxCon Europe 2011 - http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon-europe Linux Kernel Summit 2011 - http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linux-kernel-summit Embedded Linux Conference Europe 2011 - http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/embedded-linux-conference-europe GStreamer Conference 2011 - http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/conference/ Real Time Linux Workshop 2011 - http://www.realtimelinuxfoundation.org/events/rtlws-2011/ws.html I'm wondering if Fedora folks are interested in any of these events. Linux Kernel Summit is invitation-only and LinuxCon seems to be rather a business conference since admission starts at $350. On other hand, I read in the marketing mailing list that some Fedora ambassadors were going to have a Fedora booth on LinuxCon North America 2011. So maybe we can try to do the same for LinuxCon Europe. Jiri

I suggested a more graphical approach since some applicants think the pages are somewhat scholarly. I don't know ... just a thought, but who knows????... might turn out great.
