Re: [Ambassadors] CD / DVD stickers needed
by Vali Cobelea
Hi,
Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.

IEEE International Conference in Tunisia
by Chitlesh GOORAH
Hello there,
The 16th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and
Systems, ICECS 2009 [1], will be held in Tunisia on the 13th to 16th
December 2009.
The wiki page [2] says we have 7 ambassadors in Tunisia. Can anyone of
you represent FEL at that conference ?
Tasks include:
- writing and sending a paper (will be done by me)
- prepare local ambassadors with the talking points (will be done by me)
- attend the conference and distribute your Fedora business cards (eat
good food too :) )
- if our paper is selected by the chair, the ambassador will give a
brief introduction about Fedora&FEL
You may find other publications, screenshots and presentations on [3].
I believe that FEL should be sending papers to technical conferences
around the world. These papers will describe our opensource EDA
solutions and Fedora's key features eventually.
If you are aware of such conferences in your locality, please let me know :)

Here is a really successful project from where I live that Fedora might
benefit from.
http://calagator.org/
http://code.google.com/p/calagator/
It is different from the traditional "calendaring/Outlook" type solution
that has been under discussion, but it is extremely easy for people to
add events to and for others to query and get updates from (RSS and ical
feeds).
Maybe it would be useful for a small segment of our project like weekly
team meetings. It could also be used on much larger scale for Fedora
events around the world.

Achieving old freemedia requests for F10 and opening form for F11.
by susmit shannigrahi
Hi,
I am going to open up the freemedia form in an hour.
Before that a few notes:
1. I have moved all F10 tickets to three separate reports. Report 25,
26,27. These are not grouped by region, only grouped by countries. If
you have any difficulty regarding this move, please let me know.
2. New requests for F11 will be categorised by Region and Country as
earlier. There should not be any problem regarding this.
And thanks a lot for your nice works.

Thanks to Ing. Juan M. Rodriguez Moreno and to Joerg Simon for taking me

Now i have a question:
"I'm doing a Fedora event this Friday 3 of July, and i'll take some
pictures and video, should i post them to somewhere in the fedora wiki?
Thanks in advance and my regards.
