Hi,
Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.

Hi Fedora Ambassadors --
Do you have intermediate to advanced Drupal 6 skills, and some time to
apply these to benefit the Fedora community? Would you be interested in
leveraging these to help spread the word about Fedora?
If so, then we have a great opportunity for you!
Fedora Insight[1] is a content portal for aggregated news, views, and
events about the Fedora Project that a multi-faceted team has been
working on over the last while. The vision is to build a rich, dynamic
one-stop place to get the latest news on Fedora. The first content
we're incorporating is Fedora Weekly News[2], and we're in the midst of
themeing the site as well as creating new Views for FWN issues. Come
join us! We meet Thursdays on irc.freenode.net
If you are interested, please join the Fedora logistics list[3], and
introduce yourself to the team! We've also started a new Fedora Project
Drupal group[4] for more recruitment, so join us there too, once it has
been approved by the moderators there! Thanks so much!

Hello friends,
I just wanted to know about your opinion, if we should consider
replacing the current 4 CDs of Desktop spins media production with the
1 DVD which contains all 4 spins?
Maybe even with F14 ?
( eg. would save money, because of mass production leverage. )

Hi all,
One of the last events this year in Europe will be the LinuxDay [1] at
Dornbirn, Austria.
Some more details about the event:
Date: 27. November 2010 (2010-11-27)
Time: 09.00 till 18.00
Location: HTL Dornbirn, A-6851 Dornbirn (near the Swiss, the German, and
the Austria border, right beside the Bodensee.)
Deadline CfP: 26. September 2010
It's a small one-day event with a nice social event in the evening. The
audience is mixed (from novice to pros) and often it's not very crowed
(perhaps 200 visitors).
There is a wiki page [2] available. Please take the ownership or add
yourself as a booth person.
Kind regards,
Fabian

Big thanks goes to all Ambassadors - you know yourself how good we
really are ;)!!!
I want to thank all FAmSCo Members who served with me during 2010 -
Thanks for your trust and work!
Of course i would be happy to serve another period together with you -
please consider to run again!
I will!
And a lot of our goals and duties in the Ambassador Group would not have
such a good result without the help of people which i would love to see
running for FAmSCo:
*Robert Scheck and Zoltan Hoppar:*
they are the right people to conquer new areas like the former east or
the scandinavian countries. Zoltan is also a creative mind in producing
new SWAG.
Robert is a brilliant developer and the person behind the inclusion of
Zarafa in Fedora he also helped me together with Fabian and Susmit in
Fedora Ambassador Membership Administration and as EMEA Mentor.
*Mathieu Bridon* - a great liason to the french community with a
straight, brilliant view of things and a very thorough Mentor
*Larry Cafiero*, -a very reliable and thorough mentor and mediator -
would really love to see him on FAmSCo
*Pierros Papadeas* - hot-headed, fresh minded clobe-trotter and
undeniable one of the EMEA Leaders and our reliable EMEA Meeting Chair
*Isaac Sanni-Thomas* - my big hope for Fedora in Africa
*Gerard Braad* and *Caius 'kaio' Chance* - my big hope for Fedora in China
We are more than 700 Group Members and now that i nominated above
candidates i am aware that i will hurt the feelings of so many of you
who deserve it in the same way to be in FAmSCo - do not hesitate,
nominate yourself!!!
It is also time to thank Chitlesh, Gerold and Max for all their support
for so many years now!!!

Hi, My Name is Manuel Escudero, I'm a Fedora Ambassador from México.
See, I'm looking for a Hardware Builder, an IHV, I mean, a small company
or person who can Build custom machines for me, and I was wondering if
there's someone here in the ambassadors group who can help me with this
task, I want to explore as many options as possible, so I want to have some
information about the Independent Hardware Vendors out there in the
ambassadors
group.
Any information would be useful for me, in order to have more control about
the
options, (and to avoid using the list very much) I suggest you to fill out
this form:

Thanks!

Sorry, I was not aware that I can't put any other FLOSS work in fedora
wiki! (even if it is beneficial somehow for fedora users). I can't
find any guidelines regarding this in fedoraproject.org also.
Even users like Rahul Sundaram asked me to move the rpm from wiki and
keep it in fedorapeople.org, they never mentioned that I cannot keep
this over there.

I may need to wait for six months to get it promoted and approved by
the "mentor" because of the new "rules"

This is not true, we are not expecting any respect, but please don't
insult. Mentors from India is questioning our intention of
contribution, which is an big insult. According to them we are all
doing this just for a "name".
