Neville, I am sorry but Panamá didn't won the voting because rigobersol and
Juon vote was not counted for Brazil, anyway I don't think repeating a
FUDCon in Panamá is better for the Project instead of having a FUDCon in
Paraguay that never received one,
Can you provide us the Juon fas information?, we request people who
attendees the meeting to identify they selves with .fas FASUSERNAME , also
most people in the meeting have theirs nicks registered in freenode so you
can trust in the identity of the person begin the Nick, with rigobersol
vote there is a draw, anyway we need to wait the council opinion.

Well I think we/you are going in the wrong direction, it seems to me you
are fighting one against the other when you have the same goal at the end.
I saw the bids just a few days ago and am surprised you already voted,
because the bids have both pros and cons.
I would consider instead to extend the deadline (remember we don't have a
budget yet set) and try to find more arguments why the FUDCon should be in
Panama or in Brazil. People should not vote just for winning a bit, they
should vote having enough informations about the bids.
Organizing a FUDCon is not simple and you need a lot of people and a good
strategy to be successful.
So please, before you fight within your region about valid or invalid
votes, think about the final goal and extend your deadline a bit. If you
like I'm sure jkurik can setup a voting session, although the Region's
proposals to the Council never needed that.
My two cents.

Title: A Study of FOSS'2013 Survey Data Using Clustering Techniques
Authors: Mani A and Rebeka Mukherjee
Comments: IEEE Women in Engineering Conference Paper: WIECON-ECE'2017
(Scheduled to appear in IEEE Xplore )
\\
FOSS is an acronym for Free and Open Source Software. The FOSS 2013 survey
primarily targets FOSS contributors and relevant anonymized dataset is publicly
available under CC by SA license. In this study, the dataset is analyzed from a
critical perspective using statistical and clustering techniques (especially
multiple correspondence analysis) with a strong focus on women contributors
towards discovering hidden trends and facts. Important inferences are drawn
about development practices and other facets of the free software and OSS
worlds.

Fudcon bids election
by Eduardo Javier Echeverria Alvarado
We held the Fudcon bids election today on IRC, however, on the election a
lot of people without CLA +1 has voted it.
It's important that despite we want to host the Fudcon in our country, we
have to be aware of the rules, the Fudcon host is something that should be
voted by contributors, not by people outside of the project.
So, the election will be rebooted and only the people having CLA+1 will be
taking into account.
The election starts today and will be closed the next Friday.
Please, if you have CLA +1. vote here,
https://pagure.io/ambassadors-latam/tasks/issue/370
Athos and I we are thinking to make a system for the next time for voting
in fudconlatam.org or ask to Fedora Elections system to set the Fudcon
election there.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Re: Prelim attendance and setup for Bitcamp 2017 (Apr 7-9,2017)
by Corey W Sheldon
To all NA Ambassadors,
I am asking to see who is willing and / or able to partake in Bitcamp
2017 [0] April 7-9, 2017.
I am already talking with the organizers and had planned to do a single
6' table and have preferably 3 ambassadors ( possibly more, or a mix of
ambassadors and other contributors (python SIG? cloud/Server SIGs?)
Seeing as this is a Hackathon, which has and encourages vendor mentors,
I personally would like to see someone other than just myself also show
up that was proficient, comfortable with mentoring some of the event's
hackers.
