Hi,
Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.

Hi All,
We are pretty excited about the release we are approaching. Thanks
goes to everyone for their brilliant efforts.
The release events have always been an integral part of our releases.
Many ambassadors and contributors have already started planning the
parties.
As we have merely three weeks to go before the release, its time that
we start working on placing things in place.
If you are planning an event, you are welcome to do it.
To make things easier to organise, please follow the steps (there are
not many steps to follow though. :))
1. Start by creating an wiki page. The wikipage should be at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Party_F13_<your_city>.
2. Edit the page and at the top of the page write
{{subst:ReleaseParty}} and save.
3. Now fill in the details. Information requirement is minimal. You
won't need more than five minutes.
4. Link your page from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_release_events
If you need any budget or support for your release event, you are
welcome to ask for it. Please fill in the appropriate section in your
event page.
Also, we will have a meeting in the second week of May (Around 10th)
to discuss issues and clarifications regarding organisation of release
events. In the meanwhile, if you want to ask anything or need
anything, please drop me/Tatica/Luca a mail.
Thanking you all for your brilliant efforts,
--
Regards,
Susmit.

This message is primarily directed at the North American Ambassadors.
As y'all probably know, the Red Hat Summit 2010 is coming up. We have
a planning page on the wiki here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Red_Hat_Summit_2010
I wanted to put in a request for support, to consist of:
* Event box
* Vertical and hanging banners
* Any swag that would be appropriate
The audience at the Summit is quite large, usually well over 1,000
people. We have USB keys already being provided which will include a
Fedora 13 Live image. I'd like to make sure we have some of the
typical goodies to hand out as well. I already have in hand the
mailing addresses we need for either an early or a late shipment to
the Summit, and can get those addresses to the appopriate people.
How should we proceed from here?
Paul
With Christoph's permission I'm forwarding his message to this list. I
felt it be more efficient to move forward with everyone on the same page.
In past (for reasons I don't recall) it was determined that a separate
Ambassador's schedule was not needed--similar to each of the team
schedules seen in the header of this page:
http://poelstra.fedorapeople.org/schedules/f-13/f-13-key-tasks.html
If there is a need now I'd like to have a meeting with FAMSCo to better
understand what those needs are so I can correctly capture all the tasks
and dependencies that are important to you and create a suitable schedule.
Please let me know how you would like to move forward and how I can best
support you.
John
p.s. I do not actively read this list. Please CC me with your reply so
that I can promptly get back to you.

As the Ambassadors are the ones to distribute most of the media, they
decide what kind of media (GNOME, KDE, LXDE, Xfce) is produced. This
decision needs to happen *before* the design team can work on the
sleeves.
In the past the design team already complained that we did not follow
their schedule but we cannot follow it if we don't know the dates.
Please inform the ambassadors of these dates next time and please do it
some time in advance so we can align our schedule accordingly.
Thanks,
Christoph
