Hi, yesterday we had a long discussion about whether we want to have a mechanism to remove completely inactive ambassadors or not. This issue is brought up again and again, so I think it's time to discuss it properly and eventually make a decision. Budget for FAD China 2014

The problem is that there is no well defined criteria for Fedora ambassadorship. Granting or revoking status seems to be based on subjective understandings. Personal bias is inevitable in such situations. Some may get the status easily. Others may face stringent conditions. Some may continue with the status without doing much. Others may have to face questions a bit too hard. This can be done away if concrete criteria is set. The criteria can be decided in a series of meetings.

I am new here, and not even officially a mentor yet, but I don't believe that kicking inactive people is the right way to go. It shouldn't be "Be part of the team constantly or get kicked." I don't see any benefit. Maybe in the case of mentors one could put in their status as "presumed inactive". People have stages of life, and sometimes aren't available for a long time not because of lack of care or interest but personal interest. Maybe mark someone inactive for reference, but removing someone seems unkind and I don't think it reflects the values Fedora is built on. Again I am new. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe I am right. I agree with Jukka. The same here in Romania. I'm trying to install Fedora in Highschools...I'm also sending DVDs around the country. I don't participate to meetings because is late for me. But i'm still using fedora and give away to other people... FY15 event page? (and Northeast Linux Fest in April)

Hi everyone. We talked a little bit ago about NELF, and possibly having a fairly big Fedora presence there. I went to create an event page, and discovered that there is no FY15 page yet. I know it's a wiki, but wanted to make sure I wasn't stepping on existing process or plans before I went ahead and created it. Let me know if I should just do it.
