Hi,
you may have heard of Fedorator recently. Miro HronĨok supervised a
bachelor thesis whose result was a Fedora USB drive writer box. It's
all open source hardware, you can find it at Github:
https://github.com/Sanqui/fedorator
The thesis (in English) is here:

My idea is to organize a workshop at Flock where we would assemble say
10 units and then ambassadors would bring them back to their countries
and use at events. Since DVDs are going away it could be a useful
addition to event equipment and one of replacements for DVDs.
I'm writing it here to hear opinions of other ambassadors. Do you
think it's something worth investing time and money in?

If I go to Flock, I will be very interested in participate in this
hacking. I would like to take the opportunity of being on the US to
buy gadgets to built my own. Maybe somebody in the US can help buying
some parts for those traveling.
I recall reading from the ideas that it will have a powered hub, so
people can charge their phone and talk a little bit. That feature made
to the final design?
Best regards
