Hello!
As far as I know, you have to go personally to a Western Union
affiliate, show your ID card or passport (depends on countries, not all
of them accept both as document) and give the money (cash), give some
personal information (like address and full name) and sign a
receipt/voucher. Then to withdraw is the same process, you have to go
to a Western Union office, show your ID card or passport (again it
depends on countries which one is accepted), sign and receive your money
on hand. Also, depending on countries and offices, they may not give
you the money in the original currency but in local.
I know nothing about Transferwise, sorry.
