Yeah, couple of thoughts came to mind, which was why I thought we'd best
have this discussion here.
* Tim Budd has been exposed to Fedora folks in various ways, and I
wanted to be sure we were coordinating working with him and his group;
* For the most part, one Ambassador is the same as another. I'd like to
make sure that we spread the contact/talk/present modes around to
everyone. Reasons: spread the load to make it easier to bear, thus
more fun floats to the surface; spread the fame to prevent painful cults
of personality :); make it easier to spread and scale to all the
potential opportunities. Having more folks trained and experienced
helps all of that.
* The West Coast is really big and we don't have good inter-city
transportation. For big travel, we should combine and focus around the
main regional events (LFNW, UTOSC, SCALE, etc.)
* There *are* folks from Oregon on this list and around; hopefully
they'll get excited about doing more regionally.
* Larry Cafiero is working with some folks on a Lindependence event in
Oregon, so maybe that can coincide.
