This is awesome! Thanks for working on this!

Oooh. Does that mean that high cost items (fancy backpacks, say) are more
of
a risk? What's the quantity-per-time for "doesn't sell"?

I think *normal* stickers are out, but people seem to _love_ the shiny
metal
ones (like case stickers). If those are an option I'd be in favor.
I like pens. And pencils. But I'm not sure of their value for the store.
Clothing is good. In addition to the assumed t-shirt, I'd like to see a
hoodie or light jacket. Ideally of higher quality -- embroidered Fedora
logo
instead of printed? -- with the t-shirt being the lower-cost apparel
option.
This might be my personal bias, but I'd love to see some kids' sizes too --
maybe even something designed for kids?
Mugs are good.
I like the idea of lanyards, too -- it's a way to show your Fedora identity
at non-Fedora conferences.
Possibly some sort of keychain gadget? Although I personally will not be
changing my Lego minifig keychains for anything.

Because we have such an awesome design team, I'd like to see custom,
limited-edition designs. Maybe we could do two, and then replace whichever
is selling more slowly?
Sure, we can try to do for each version one, its not a problem. We did for
last 2 releases shirts, as Till mentioned before and it looks they are
loved a lot. They was given away to good contributors, before you moan I
was not responsible for the selection who got one. Nor was Jiri Eischmann
and Gabriele Trombini, who did the work collecting the names from team
leads and FAmSCo, FESCo and send them out.
But I fear they are loved a lot because not everybody has one, so we should
measure here what has more value for us, award them furthermore to good
contributors or the dollar signs in the eyes of donald duck ;) I hope we
can do a shirt for F21 to, I already work it and waive it again to good
contributors. So start to think about doing a release party, that was
always the easiest way to get one.
