I'm glad to announce that, for the first year since Fedora
Ambassadors
start its activities, Italian Ambassadors will be present at LinuxDay
2007 (on Saturday 27th October).
This event differs from the other ones because it's organized by local
LUGs to promote Linux and, generally, the Open Source philosophy,
moreover, it's an occasion to share opinion, meet other people and
create a "real" community.
Actually ambassadors who confirmed their presence are (in alphabetical
order):
- Francesco Crippa | LinuxDay Lodi : speech on Ruby; presentation
and demo of a fedora installation.
- Francesco Ugolini | LinuxDay Pistoia: presentation of Fedora 7 (a
brief previw of Fedora 8), cd distribution |
http://www.ptlug.org/wiki/LinuxDay2007
- Mario Torre | LinuxDay Avellino |
http://www.irlug.it/pagina/linuxday2007
We have, moreover, a fedora contributor who will help us:
- Alessandro Gardich | LinuxDay Padova
For more information you may visit the official website:
www.linuxday.it (you will also find the link to the LUGs' sites).
Best regards
Francesco Ugolini
