Is anyone else attending the Grace Hopper Celebration in Baltimore the
first week in Oct?
I do see it in then event list but without an owner..
I will be attending and have updated the wiki to show myself as event
owner. I am late in creating the event page for GHC, but that is on my
to do list for this weekend.
I just received confirmation that I will be teaching in the area
that
week and have signed up to attend the opensource day only on Sat
before returning home. I have some Fedora stuff - including one pack
of USB keys left over from Summit and some old pens and stickers from
a kit of days gone by - that I will bring with me.
Excellent news! There is a FOSS Projects booth that I'll be helping to
staff and we would love to be able to hand out Fedora swag there. If
you would like to sign up for booth duty, please do so at:

Whether or not you'd like to commit to a booth shift, please stop by
during my shift hours if you are able. It would be great to meet you
before Open Source Day.
Unless there is already a Fedora activity plan, I'll probably
get
involved with either Kids on Computers or SLC.
a dedicated day devoted to Open Source:

I am one of the organizers of Open Source Day and am thrilled that you
plan to participate. The theme for OSD is "Hacking for Humanity" and
if folks can let me know about humanitarian things going on in Fedora,
I would love to propose Fedora as a participating organization next
year.
I will be working with Systers/GNU Mailman as a facilitator for their
developers during OSD.
I look forward to seeing you and other members of the Fedora community
at Grace Hopper!
Best,
LH
