this patch works as expected, so

While testing I tried the same with a group, i.e. log in and off as a
user, add user to a group on the server, log in check groupmembership
and log off again, remove group from the server, log in check
groupmembership. The result was that the user is still a member of the
group although the group was deleted on the server. Maybe you want to
fix this in the same patch, because it looks related.
