Just to confirm:
1.10.0beta1 builds fine by running ./configure (not the autoconfig stuff
as per the BUILD.txt file)
2. The git doesn't have a .configure; doesn't build.
SOLVED:
Apply the debian patch to libtool (I used 2.4.2) from debian patch and
now it builds fine. But it would be nice not to have to rebuild
dependencies. Or maybe this is just Debian/Ubuntu?
