Do you know if the tests you ran were using the same libini version as
the ones that were passing?
It's not related to libini_config.
Authentication works with default version on rhel 6.6.
But it isn't related to this patch I am able to reproduce bug on rhel7 as well.
and sssd-1.12.2-26.el7 from freeipa copr repo[1] does not contain this
regression.
If not, just please create a ticket.
