Announcing the release of SSSD 0.99.1
by Stephen Gallagher
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
The SSSD team has been working tirelessly since 0.99.0 to bring you
0.99.1, hopefully the last stop before the final 1.0.0 release.
Without further ado, we hereby announce 0.99.1 to the world.
Our plan is to release 1.0.0 in one week's time, after 0.99.1 has been
sufficiently tested.
We would certainly welcome your help in this regard.
As usual, the SSSD release is available at https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/
Fedora packages will be built later today and should be available for
Fedora 12 in the updates-testing repository tomorrow.

[PATCHES] ELAPI and Refarray
by Dmitri Pal
Hi,
0004 - Introduces new object - dynamic array with reference count. It is
used by ELAPI and the ELAPI patch relies on it. See details in the patch
comment.
0005 - Major ELAPI rework. Compressed into patch.gz due to big size.
Unfortunately can't be easily sliced into pieces. One of the reasons the
patch is huge is because some of the files were moved between
directories and some files have been split into two and more files since
they became to big. But on top of that there is a fair amount of new
code too... The details are in the patch comment.

[PATCH] Fix stupid copy-paste error
by Stephen Gallagher
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I accidentally copied in the complete contents of a directory while
adding the list of files needed for 'make check'
This included a .swp file that doesn't actually exist in the repo.
This patch will remove it (and unbreak the build).

[PATCH] Build improvements (hopefully :-)
by Sumit Bose
Hi,
here are three patches for the build system:
0001: Adds the --with-os option to configure and tries to figure out if
we are building on Fedora, RHEL or SUSE if this option is missing. The
result is currently only used to determine if we want to install the
SUSE init script.
0002: This patch makes the packaging of *.egg-info files platform
independent.
0003: This patch changes the spec file to make it work on SUSE. I am not
sure if we want to include it, because it might be a bit of a burden for
people adding new 'Requires' to figure out if they are available on SUSE
and how they are named.

Sumit

[PATCH] Always update sysdb to the latest version
by Sumit Bose
Hi,
this is a quick fix for #285 by calling sysdb_upgrade_03() after
sysdb_upgrade_02() is done. I'm thinking of refactoring all the upgrade
calls into one function which can be called multiple time from different
places of the code, but for the time being I think the patch is
sufficient.

Sumit
