NACK, an enumeration request with an empty cache still needs some
minutes to complete and if the cache is up-to-date a setpwent call isn't
faster compared to the patch using LDB_SCOPE_SUBTREE.
I have opened trac ticket #773 as a reminder that we should have a
closer look at this issue for the next major release.
