Providing Flatpacks besides RPMs to increase the variability of options for
users is a good thing, but getting rid of everything which is not
Flatpacks, taking the options away, is not only a surprise for me, it is
also quite disturbing. For me, that goes against the idea of Linux and what
I like about it.

It is where we're going already. We've already started generating Flatpaks
in
Fedora. I'm not certain why this comes as a surprise.
