Can someone please in "plain" language say what a 3rd Party developer,
or al least what is perceived as such?
Mozilla (upstream firefox builds)
Google (Chrome)
Valve (Steam)
Autodesk (Maya)
would all be examples of a third-party developer that builds apps for a
'desktop'.
