Hi folks! We have a new Fedora 24 Alpha candidate compose (like an 'RC'
in earlier cycles) and go/no-go is tomorrow, so if you could please
help test it, that would be great!
The Desktop validation page is here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_24_Alpha_1.7_Desktop
and has download links. You can enter your results by editing the
results tables directly (please follow the instructions on the page for
that) or using the 'relval' tool - 'dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing
install relval', 'relval report-results'.
It'd be great if people could help knock out at least the Alpha tests
for both KDE and GNOME, and of course if we can do the Beta and Final
tests too it helps us find blockers earlier. There were changes to
mesa, kde-settings, plasma-workspace and desktop-backgrounds since
candidate 6, so it'd be good if a few different people can test on
different hardware just to make sure nothing broke horribly.
Thanks a lot folks!
