I had presented in an introductory talk on GNU Make [1] at GNUnify 2011 [2] on Saturday, February 12, 2011 called 'Dum Ka Biryani, Make for each other' [3]. The .pdf slides [4] are available. You can also clone the LaTeX sources of the presentation using:

In the afternoon I had conducted a 3-hour hands-on workshop for newbies on basic shell commands, compilation with gcc, and use and creation of static and shared libraries with gcc, ar [5]. It was attended mostly by students in and around Pune. The C examples demonstrated at the workshop are available at:
