Just wanted to share here, as many here may have faced similar issues
while grooming new contributors.
It'll help if you could share anyways you've found to keep new
contributors from being scared.

In case you are not aware of this thing, Fedora Wiki login is now
possible for only those FAS users who have completed CLA and are part
of some other FAS group. If your account is showing just "cla_done
cla_fpca" as the only approved groups then you need to be either part
of one more group or newly created "wikiedit" group.
For now I can't see any specific instructions on how to get
sponsored in "wikiedit" group. You may need to file a ticket in the
fedora-infra trac or find someone in #fedora-admin to sponsor you
in "wikiedit" group. Once you are part of "wikiedit" group or any
other group, you can login to Fedora Wiki.
I attended Flock which is annual Fedora conference for Fedora
contributors. It was held at the beautiful city Kraków, Poland from
2nd to 5th August. I also presented a talk on topic "Ensuring ABI
stability in fedora". I have added my experience at Flock in my public
blogpost at https://sinny.io/2016/08/09/flock-2016-my-talk-on-abi-checking-in-fedora

+ Any blood group should work as blood bank will exchange it for the
required blood group.
