Hi,
I had participated in the panel discussion on "Free/Open Source
Hardware - What it means to Design Engineers" at the Electronics For
You Expo [1] 2011, Pragati Maidan [2], New Delhi on Satuday, February
19, 2011 representing Fedora and Fedora Electronic Lab. Massimo Banzi
(Arduino) chaired the session. The presentation is available at:
http://shakthimaan.com/downloads.html#free-open-source-hardware-what-it-mea…
It was good to meet up with Massimo Banzi, Marcus Erlandsson
(OpenCores.org) and Kyle Wiens (iFixit). I was also able to catch up
with few Arduino hackers from Delhi. We had a good discussion about
open hardware, licensing, community development, hardware hacking, and
of course Fedora Electronic Lab. Special thanks to Electronics For You
for sponsoring the travel, and for the logistics.
Few photos taken during the expo are available at:

Hi -
I have two rpm(say , core_1.rpm and addon_1.rpm) installed on my system -
where addon_1.rpm depends on core_1.rpm.
Now I need upgrade it -with new verison 2.
If i do #rpm -Uvh core_2.rpm it says
core_1 is needed by (installed) addon_1.rpm
If i do #rpm -Uvh addon_2.rpm it says
core_2 needed by addon_2.rpm
Does this needs to be handled in .spec file? Thanks for any help.

Hi!
I am thankful to you all for your suggestions on this. After thinking
about your suggestions, I found that it will be better to start with a
facebook or orkut or google group.
Later on if it will be successful then we can create a web page or as
I have already mentioned.
So now, I have created a facebook group- WBUT.LXUG.
---xx--
Dear friends,
I have created a new Group and need your help to make this one the
most successful Linux Users Group in whole World,
Group Name:- WBUT.LXUG (WBUT Linux Users Group)
Group Link:- http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_181997788508986
Group Email Address:- wbut.lxug(a)groups.facebook.com
* If you are interested in Linux? Yes
* If you want to know about Linux? Yes
* If you are afraid of using Linux, since you feel that it's hard to use? Yes
* If you are screwed-up while searching for any Linux related problems? Yes
If your answer is Yes for any of the above questions, I request you to
join WBUT.LXUG Group in facebook.
I request all students from wbut colleges to take hand in hand with me
to involve more and more students on this group.
Your help is very important to us!!!
If you are non-wbut student or not a student and thinking to ignore
this mail? WAIT!
This group's name is WBUT Linux Users Group but ANYONE can join this group.
If you are thinking, what you will do in this group, since you are not
a student?
You can help us to solve many Linux related problems/queries which
will be asked by our friends.
Thank You!! and Happy V-Day!!

All students perfomed Linux | Fedora 14 installation in around 50 Computers.
We have also demonstarted some basic Linux Fedora Desktop and User
Management.
Special thanks to Mr. Bhupendra Patel, Mr. Ankit Patel for inviting us to
