[X-POST] Keynote Speaker Suggestions for PyCon India 2021

Hey everyone, We recently announced that PyCon India 2021 will be organized online[1], and we have already started prepping up for the conference. We have also opened our talks and workshops CFP for potential speakers[2]. We want to start the process of selecting the Keynote Speakers for PyCon India 2021. For people new to the conference, keynotes at PyCon India, are inspiring talks from speakers that leave a lasting impact on the conference attendees. The keynote speakers also help to tip the scales for people having second thoughts about attending the conference. This increases participation and enriches the overall experience of the conference. We will have 4 keynote speakers this year. Please send in your keynote speaker suggestion to the mailing list. Please send in one keynote speaker suggestion per mail, containing a brief description of the speaker or Speaker Bio-Link. If you like a speaker suggestion, use +1 style voting to indicate a preference for a particular keynote speaker. We are also using GitHub discussions to get all suggestions from the community. Please share your keynote speaker suggestions in the GitHub discussion here also[3]. We will start reaching out to keynote speakers in the order of preference within the next few weeks. Hello Fedora India Community! I am Akarsh S Shetty, Senior Year IT Undergrad from Kerala. I've been using GNU/Linux as my primary OS for around 2+ years. I recently switched to Fedora as it is a Community based distro backed by RH/IBM. I am deeply interested in Software Development, DevOps, and Machine Learning. I am skilled in Python, C/C++, Web Technologies, Databases. I have even tried compiling a Linux kernel from scratch, following the Kernel Development course from Linux Foundation. Apart from that, I have done several projects like GUI FOSS/FLOSS has always fascinated me and I learned several things and still continue to learn stuff daily. I am really amazed at how the GNU/Linux community works in general. Their philosophies, User/Developer engagement, and the huge community of users surprise me. I want to contribute back to this amazing distro and its community. I'd like to take initiative with some good first issues, minor bugs, maintenance, testing, etc. I would love to explore Kernel Development as well as try to learn to build GTK apps.

Hello, Fedora community, I am Mrinal Kumar. Currently, I am a sophomore at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. I am a big fan of the Fedora project and am looking forward to being a part of such an incredible community. I have a firm grasp of languages like C, C++, Python, Java, Javascript, Rust. I have done quite a few projects on web-development using frameworks like React-js, Django, Django-Rest-Framework. I also have experience in writing command line interfaces using languages like Rust and Python. I am a full-stack developer at the Information Management Group, IIT Roorkee, and have contributed to its open-source project Omniport.
