Hello there,
I have introduced myself in the past, but I've been thinking about where
I can help or contribute and the door for me seems to be getting smaller
and smaller.
When I'm done school I want to dive into a Fedora project to help people
use a Fedora/RPM based distro that uses Cinnamon. But from what I can
see, the whole of Fedora seems to be hell-bent on Gnome and everything
Gnome is. I don't want to get into a flame war over Gnome vs Cinnamon,
I am just so much more comfortable with Cinnamon and find Gnome insanely
impossible to use functionally. I'm sort of between worlds liking
Fedora/RPM and Cinnamon.
Do you guys see yourselves as becoming even more desktop/Gnome-centric
with the new tri-distro release? At one time Linux used to be about
"Pick your distro, then pick your desktop" Now, it just seems like "pick
your distro and take your desktop".
Thanks,
-Cory
