[Newcomers] Which Fedora Classroom you would like to see ?
by Nasir Hussain
Hello everyone, I hope all of you are doing well,
We at Join SIG are trying to have Classroom sessions for newcomers to learn
more about the Fedora Project and help you to get involved and now after
some time of inactivity, we're trying our best to come up with innovative
ideas to conduct Classroom sessions making them more insightful and ful,
What Classroom Sessions would you like to see happening in the future ? (It
could be a tool which you find interesting, a packaging workshop, something
Quality Assurance related, etc)
We would love to hear from you about how we can improve our classroom
sessions too ?
Kindly share your ideas and thoughts here to make the classrooms project
more awesome and helpful for newcomers :D.
Have a Good Day,
---

[Action Required] Infographic to highlight the accomplishments of Fedora Join!
by Smera Goel
Hi Fedora Join peeps!
My name is Smera, and I’m an Outreachy Intern here at Fedora and a part of
the design team!
As a thank you for all the efforts you guys put in welcoming new users,
conducting Classrooms, resolving queries at AskFedora and helping
prospective members engage with the community, we are working on a set of
infographics to highlight the accomplishments of all the people who worked
and contributed to Fedora in the past year. For this, we request you to
share accomplishments, stories, metrics etc. of individuals and/or teams in
your group! It can be anything like number of Classrooms conducted, number
of people reached via Classrooms, popular Classrooms, number of queries
resolved on AskFedora, number of new users welcomed, etc.
I have created a pagure ticket for the same here:
https://pagure.io/fedora-join/Fedora-Join/issue/212. Please give your
feedback by the end of next week (June 19th).
Again, thank you for everything you do to make Fedora awesome!
Best wishes,
Smera Goel (smeragoel)

Fedora's Community Outreach - Proposal - RE: Fedora Ambassadors
by Marie Nordin
Hey Fedora Friends!
https://pagure.io/mindshare/issue/218
I've prepared this proposal as a result of many public discussions around
the state of the Fedora Ambassador Program. The proposal includes a plan on
how to get us from where we are currently to where and what we could be. I
have attempted at every turn to simplify, and to make use of what we
already have in place.
I have put a lot of my own energy into this proposal, and had a couple
folks give some bits of first feedback so I don’t eat dirt after publishing
it. Please read it with an open mind, and hopefully you will be as excited
as I am about the future!
I look forward to constructive feedback on ticket #218. Please refrain from
responding to the email thread as it will be harder to organize.
All my best,
Riecatnor
*Apologies if you receive this email more than once, I am sending it to
multiple lists for coverage*
