Installed a minimal YDL 3.0 Removed a bunch of packes.
Tried yum updating to ppc FC3T2 on http://fedora.linux.duke.edu/fedorappc/
Didn't want to do do it - looked like there was stuff there that wanted different glibc than what it the repo had.
Tried updating to FC2 same thing.
What's the best way to do this?

Figured it out. for whatever reason yum on YDL could not see glibc in the repository. Manually installed that and its dependencies, yum updated rpm and yum, and other than a few little conflicts that had to resolved, it was cake from there.

YDL glibc has greater epoch so yum won't upgrade to the FC ones.
